Reiko Hagihara<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, she graduated from the Kyoto Institute of Technology and the University of Photography, Department of Photographic Expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She traveled extensively abroad with her camera, an experience that later led to a deep engagement with the landscapes of Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was selected for the Emerging Landscape Photographer Development Program run by the bimonthly magazine Landscape Photography, through which she received intensive training in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture, before beginning her professional career. She studied under Toshiki Nakanishi, Shiro Hagihara, and Toshiya Hagihara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is currently based in Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture, with Joshinetsu Kogen National Park as her primary field of work. Her practice centers on natural landscapes and the quiet narratives of life unfolding within them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a member of the Japan Landscape Photographers Association, serves on the Camera Grand Prix selection committee, is an instructor at the Ishinoyu Lodge Photography School, a Fujifilm digital camera seminar lecturer, and a Tourism Ambassador for Tsumagoi Village.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
